World AIDS Day 2025 reminds us of the global commitment to this year’s theme:
“Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response.”

As we reflect on progress and challenges, it is important to highlight the experiences of communities that are too often overlooked including disabled and queer individuals, who face layered barriers to healthcare, visibility, and dignity. Ending AIDS requires an inclusive approach where every person, regardless of disability, identity, or orientation, has equal access to prevention, treatment, and support.

On 1st December, 2025 Rainbow Disability Nepal participated in the candle-lighting event to honor lives lost and to stand in solidarity with people living with HIV. 🕯️

Let us reaffirm our commitment to a future free from stigma, discrimination, and inequality.
