We had a fantastic time at the Sensitization of Environment Protection, Climate Change, and Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction program on September 15-16, 2024. This program is designed to equip organizations, the LGBTQ+ community, the disability community, and intersectional organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to address the urgent challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation. Key topics covered: The impact of climate change on marginalized communities Strategies for inclusive risk reduction and disaster preparedness Promoting environmental sustainability and justice Integrating queer disability perspectives into environmental policies A special thanks to our supporter, Global Green grants Fund for making this event possible. Thank you to everyone who attended, including representatives from organizations, the LGBTQ+ community, the disability community, and intersectional groups. Together, we discussed the urgent challenges posed by climate change, explored strategies for inclusive risk reduction, and promoted environmental sustainability and justice.
